The Ultimate Holiday Cleaning Checklist

Complete in the weeks leading up to the event:
- Walls: Wipe down to remove stains or scuff marks.
- Windows: Clean windows to remove finger prints, dirt, water stains, and dust. Pay attention to the tracks and frames also.
- Under Couches: Vacuum/mop
- Carpet: Spot clean any visible stains. We suggest engaging in a professional to complete carpet cleaning works. You may like to leave this step until after the event to clean up any mishaps that occur during your hosting.
- Doors: Wipe down entry and exit doors, as well as those indoors to remove finger prints & dust
- Kitchen: Wipe over kitchen cupboards to remove any spills or stains
- Oven: Deep clean your oven
- Fridge: Wipe down the external and internal of the fridge
- Blinds/Curtains: Wipe down blinds to remove dust. Wash curtains where possible
- Decking/outdoor areas: Pressure wash external areas of your home to remove build up of dirt, grease, pet hair etc.
- Outdoor areas: Pack away any gardening tools or items that are not essential to your event.
Complete in the days leading up to the event:
- Floors: Vacuum & mop all flooring
- Kitchen: Wipe down all benches and counter tops. Ensure stove top is clean
- Living room: Dust all surfaces. Fluff pillows and arrange throw blankets
- Bathroom: Clean basins, showers, bathtubs, and toilets. Declutter the vanity and put away any personal items into cupboards. Refill the soap dispenser and put out fresh towels.
